I got pregnant 1st cycle on clomid ovulated mid cycle cd15. Had 2 u/s's that confirmed ovulation. I had no side effects and used O tests. Clomid 50mg days 3-7.
I didn't need it but doctor let me have it to try and increase more eggs and maybe bigger follicles of better quality as I'd had 4m/c's in a row. I'm now nearly 10weeks. I love clomid. GL

1st round 50mg CD 5-9, no ovulation. 2nd round 100mg CD 4-8 ovulated on CD 20. 3rd Round 100mg CD 4-8 ovulated on CD 18, got BFP on 10 DPO but ended in chemical pregnancy. 4th Round 100mg CD 4-8, ovulated on CD 19. I use the Clear Blue OPKs that either give you a smiley face, or a circle, I like that it is a very clear yes or no. I start taking them the day after the last pill (Although you can get false positives early on with Clomid), and DH and I start BDing 2 days and then take a day off (he is a firefighter so we have to work around his schedule). We also used Pre-seed this time because I noticed that the Clomid was not letting me have EWCM. Try not to get discouraged, just keep BDing until you ovulate and if you aren't temping, start! It is the only way to know that you ovulated, it takes so much stress off! GL!

I need It I have pcos so it's not easy for me

Took me 2 cycles on clomid 50mg the first time I conceived (ended in m/c)

After m/c I took clomid again after first cycle. Took 21 day blood test and doc said the test was 'borderline', unsure if I o'd and to double my next dose. Must have because I got BFP HPT at 14 DPO and blood showed positive but possibly a chemical pregnancy, HCG is low.

Clomid is great, it's kept my eggs popping out:) I felt like I normally did during cycle but I think I put on weight and my skin has been BAD at ovulation time. I take it from day 5-9 inclusive and assume I ovulate around day 14 - has worked out last 2 tries that way.
