I don't know why they'd want you to wait...maybe they think waiting will make it easier to "date" the pregnancy by having a regular AF in between. Honestly I'd just start trying as usual right away (temping/OPKs are essential because this cycle may be a bit weird after a CP). I mean what will the doctors do if you get pregnant? Get mad at you? ;) GL hun!

They told me to wait 3 months after my m/c. My husband & I were deciding if we wanted to try again and we just went on living our life and I got pregnant again in 2.5 months. I think they want our bodies to recover some before we get pregnant again. Just relax and try again. When it's suppose to happen it will. Baby dust and a prayer heading your way :0)

I'm confused as to why they tell you go wait so long after a chemical pregnancy. Are there any other underlying issues they're concerned with? I'm not one to advise against a doctor's guidance, but if there are no issues other than having had a chemical, I personally would try again right away. I conceived my dd following a chemical. It's estimated that the vast majority of pregnancies aren't even known about because they are undetected chemicals.

if you miscarry before your missed period its considered a chemical pregnancy. I had one at 3weeks, 2 months after my first MC at 7 weeks. They did tell me to wait as well... but i figure its the same thing as a period and people have been having kids since before all this medical know-how, if someone can give birth and get pregnant again a month later, i dont see why having a chemical pregnancy would create any bigger of a threat. I think the 3 month wait is for your emotional state, not physical. I got pregnant on my next cycle after my CP, and im 14 weeks 2 days pregnant now. begin to try again when your ready.

I had a chemical on august 7th. I ovulated on the 20th and found out I was pregnant on Aug. 29th. Everything going well.

I also fell pregnant immediately after having a very early miscarriage. Physically I counted day 1 of the bleeding with my mc as cycle day 1 and I ovulated as normal on cycle day 14. We caught the egg! I was pregnant again that very next cycle and DD is now 4! The 'empty' feeling is brutal and I needed to 'fill that hole'. I figured my body wouldn't have proceeded to ovulate unless conditions were right. I'm so glad I didn't wait. If you feel well then I say go for it!

I had a MC in 2012 at almost 7 weeks. I had an ultrasond to confirm that my uterus was empty and an exam. I saw a different doctor in the practice that day and she told meto wait 6 months! WHY??? My normal doctor said I don't need to wait, and I got pregnant the very next cycle and have a beautiful, healthy 13mo old baby girl. Good luck to you!!!
