Question

ops, ovulation, pcos, metformin...

oh boy... so lost... haha!
I have EXTREMELY long cycles, like im talking 140+ days, just got diagnosed with PCOS Thursday :( and got prescribed metformin... I have read that some ladies ovulate right away, I have uploaded some HPT images of my opks so please check them out and let me know if anything looks remotely close to a positive for you. I am starting BBT charting as well to help with that better.
Im currently on CD 73 with no AF in sight, I am just hoping that the metformin will either make me ovulate or start my next cyce soon...anyone have any input? should I ask my doctor to start my cycle? should I wait it out? anyone have any experience on metformin? and please check out my OPKs

Hi. I have been where you are. I also have PCOS, dx 1 year ago and taking metformin. I still dont know if I am ovulating every month. The only way I could get my cycles to be regular was taking Provera. That medication is wonderful. It keeps me on track for either 30-35 day cycles. Sadly I am still waiting for my BFP. My doc said since I have been trying for a year we can consider Clomid as my next step.
Hang in there. Once your cycle gets on track then there is hope. I hang onto hope each month. And see an AF ontime as a blessing that at least my body is doing something right!
