How do you keep going?
My husband and I have been TTC seriously since our first visit with the RE March 2014 - so in retrospect we haven't been doing this THAT long. I'm really not complaining. I suppose I'm tired of the horrible cramps from the Clomid.
My question - how are you ladies able to keep going? What gets you through? AF showed last night and I got angry. Not necessarily about not being pregnant but having to go through the horrible menstrual cramps. I don't have the words to describe how painful these cramps are. It hurts to lie down, it hurts to sit down - everything hurts.
Any encouragement, tips would be profoundly appreciate. Every month I feel like giving up.
Thanks.

It took us 13 years to conceive our first child. After 2 failed IVFs and failed GIFT, we finally succeeded with ZIFT. After that we had 3 more children naturally but not without experiencing 6 miscarriages in the past 10 years. We are now TTC #5 and have been working on it since May 2013 with medicated cycles and IUI. As essemkay said it helps to have a plan of action like switching doctors, getting a second opinion, adding some supplements or treatments like craniosacral therapy or acupuncture, or just setting certain timelines that make sense for your family. I understand completely how you feel. TTC month after month without success is so frustrating and uninspiring. Patience and prayer are the most important things for me to stay motivated and sane. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
