Question

Breastfeeding and ttc...

My husband and I recently decided to try for another, hopefully a baby girl, we have two sons. I just had my implanon taken out about two weeks ago and I am exclusively breast feeding our 9 month old... has anyone had difficulties getting pregnant while breast feeding, how long did it take, and did your milk supply decrease drastically?

I've conceived while bf'ing, but it's been after the first year, so I'd say the experience would be a lot different. I would reconnect using opk's to pinpoint ovulation. It's not uncommon for supply to be affected during pregnancy and there will come a point when your milk will turn to colostrum. Your ds may or may not self upon that change.
