Cervical Fluid... I can't figure it out....
I am not normally "aware" I guess of my cervical fluid. We have been ttc #1 for almost 4 years. This month I have constant "cf" but it is not a ton, not in globs, etc. If I wipe or check for it there is some and it is white/creamy... but again, not enough to really inspect it. Any thoughts on it being constant, not a lot? Like I said, never really tracked it until this month. I am 5/6dpo depending when our trigger shot worked. Thanks for any advice.

I think cervical fluid is generally light or barely there until a few days before ovulation when it becomes slimy and stretchy like egg whites, until ovulation occurs... then it becomes white and thick (lotion like) up until about 7 dpo, then levels of estrogen come down again (after rising for Ovulation) so after about 7 dpo women tend to "dry -up" before AF... and some women say the thick white cervical fluid at 8 dpo and beyond is what gives them their first clue about being pregnant. With my 4 children, that was what happened to me.. the lotiony cervical fluid just never went away after ovulation, and with my attempts at becoming pregnant, the lotion like fluid goes away around 8dpo for me (if i didnt conceive). but every women is different. i hope this helps !

My CM never seems to follow a set pattern, other than EWCM at ovulation. Sometimes in the TWW I have small amounts of the stretchy clear stuff, sometimes a little bit of creamy, but I almost always have to check my cervix to get a sample to make a note of. Don't stress about whether or not you have enough CM after O, as long as you have EWCM during your fertile days (and even then, there is a large variation on what is normal).
