Question

9 weeks Postpartum and Wondering if I'm pregnant again?

I am 9 weeks postpartum with baby number 2. I had him on July 20, and began period number one on August 21. I have not had a period since, and with the first pregnancy, I resumed regular periods immediately, so I was expecting to start my period two days ago on September 18. I have been crampy for a few days, and woke up vomiting one night this past week. My husband and I have only had sex once around 6 weeks post partum, and did use the pull out method (I know this is not a highly effective bc method, and although we were not trying to get pregnant, my dr suggested not getting on bc right away because we do want our children close in age, but I wanted time to heal), but he did pull out well enough in time, just wonderd if anyone had gotten pregnant from pre-***, especially shortly after giving birth since you are supposedly more fertile. I will definitely be excited, but just surprised.

I don't know that I'd say it's either likely or unlikely, but I would say that it's always possible. It's not uncommon to have sporadic cycles while postpartum, even if you've had a series of regular, predictable cycles. So, it's also possible that your cycles just aren't regulated right now. The only way you can know is to test, so I'd start there. Incidentally, 7/20 is my dd's birthday :).
