You may not have ovulated when you think you did, and you're actually gearing up to ovulate now - or the opk could be more sensitive and is picking up the hcg before the hpt can (but at 17 dpo, that's pretty unlikely - any hpt should be able to detect a pregnancy at this point). Are you temping as well, or just using opk's? Opk's only tell you that your body is about to try to ovulate, they can't confirm that ovulation has actually occurred. Temping is the only way (other than a blood test) to confirm that you've actually ovulated. It's common when coming off birth control to have to wait a bit for your cycle to reestablish itself. If you are reading the opk's correctly and got positive opks on both Sept 2 and 5, its possible that your body had an lh surge but didn't o (generally a surge won't last that long if everything goes right). I definitely recommend temping so you can see exactly what's happening with your cycle. Good luck!

Ok so I have very slight, I mean very mild, slight bleeding when I only wipe. This just started earlier today around 3:45pm. I just took another ovulation test and pregnancy test (6:21pm). The ovulation test came back POSITIVE yet again and the pregnancy test came back negative, even the clearable test was negative. What are my chances of being pregnant? I have no idea what to think!
