IUI Cancelled Due to High Progesterone. Anyone else have this happen?

Hi Ladies,
Went in for a baseline u/s this morning for my first IUI. My uterine lining was thicker than they like to see on cd 3 (1.5 I think) so I had to get blood drawn to see what my progesterone level was like. The nurse called later to say that the IUI cycle was cancelled because I couldn't start taking the injectables with the amount of progesterone in my blood. I asked her a few questions about what this means/why it happens and she kept saying "I'm not sure". I will be calling my RE tomorrow to get a better answer but I'm hoping in the meantime someone out there with a similar experience can fill me in. Thanks!
