What's the likelihood of being pregnant with af like bleeding and neg tests?
I know its sounds like an obvious answer. But the last 2 montys I've had a veey light af compared to usual. Before each I got a very faint pos then negative then the 2 day "af" of course my midwife is chalking it up to hormones. But for real I've been having symptoms non stop since the end of june, misses july af totaly then had light 2 day bleeding with spotting in aug and same in sep. I'm starting to get a popping feeling every so often. Feels similar to my pregnancy with my son. I've had nausea cravings everything even low alch tolerance. I havnt gotten real signs of ovulation since june either. Searching the web has only got me mixed answers. My midwife won't do any tests without a pos urine test.

It seems unlikely, but I'm of the mindset that I want support from my medical caregiver. When my cycles became wonky, my ob ran blood work and scheduled me an u/s to rule out any other issues. As for the faint bfp's: any chance they were evaps? Otherwise, I would assume chemical pregnancy if you went from bfp's to bfn's. Also, what is your age? AF goes haywire in your 30's (as I'm experiencing), so that may be why your midwife is chalking it up to hormones. All in all, I would doubt that you are several weeks pg and testing negative, but it's understandable that you would want to investigate what is going on. It sounds like your only options are waiting it out or switching care providers if you want to look into it further.
