Pill fail twice? how to tell bf second time round.
B4 microgrynon pill I was on yazmin for a 4 years worked fine. been on the microgrynon50 pill for a 1halfyrs now n ive fallin pregnant on it late last year which ended in miscarriage early this year at 8 weeks! even tho it wasn't planned me and my partner were devastated. I ended up going back on same pill. Last month was my due date month, I talked to my partner about waiting another baby. (have a 3 and a half old to previous partner) his answer was no due to his traveling work that he waited to wait I was happy with that n understood i think i was just emotional. The next month came and there was no sign of my period. waited a week thinking it was just late, lots of stress this month. it never came so I took a test to find out im pregnant again, my first question is has anyone else had this problem with this pill? why has it now failed on me twice! in a year? I take it correctly. main question how do I tell my partner without him thinking that I planned it scared to tell him. advise!

Sorry your in that situation. People get pregnant on the pill.. My mom was on the pill and using condoms and I'm here. Also on the pill and I have younger sister. I have never taken the pill myself but I know that there's plenty of people who it has failed with.
Maybe he will feel different once you tell him. I would explain to him that you did not plan this. Heck even if you did plan you only have 20% chance on conception with perfect timing and perfect bd in any given month excluding the bc your using! I did glance over consumer medicine report about this pill. Says in clinical studies it was proven 99% effective. But outside the study it was only proven 92% possibility of missed pills or other medications taken that can effect how it works.
I would personally google more and be well informed on why and how the pill can be faulty before trying to explain to him. I wish you the best of luck hun
