The clear blue digital test usually need a higher HCG level then the first response. I would retest with another FRER and see what that says.

8 dpo is super duper early, so I'm shocked that any test would get a bfp, but digi's are not meant to be early results tests, so it's improbable that there would be s light hcg in your system at 8 dpo for any digi to detect it. That's not saying you're not pg, just that a digi can't detect it this early. What I would do is retest in the morning with a line test and see if the bfp is any darker. If you confirm pregnancy like that, I'd wait yet another couple days before confirming with a digi just to try and make sure I've given my body enough time to make the level of hcg necessary for a digi test to detect it. This happened to me I was indeed pregnant I didn't get a positive digital until 3 days later due to it being so early but I did go to the dr my hcg level was 17 and I got a positive on first response and a negative digital test so give it a few days for the digital test ! Baby dust to u:)
