Question

Need advice please - blood streak 7 weeks pregnant

I had an ultrasound at 6w2d (1 weeks ago) and everything looked great- heartbeat was 115.

Today I am 7w2d and there was a tiny streak of blood blood mixed with mucous. Today I did notice extra CM , it was thicker yellowish.

Should I be worried?

I had this same thing yesterday and now to day I had a brown discharge, along with some really bad cramping. I'm a little scared too

I think its never a bad idea to get things checked out if you're worried- this is no time to stress.yourself out! Its probably nothing but do whatever you need to put your mind at ease:)

totally normal. you should only worry if its alot of bright red blood.

Go and get an u/s done if you can for peace of mind and they can see where the bleeding is coming from. Best of luck.

So I went for an ultrasound today - baby is fine! Measuring 8w1 day and heartbeat is 152!

Still unsure why I was having some bleeding, but everything is going good! So relieved!

Congrats! Perhaps the old blood was from the first u/s. It's common to experience spotting after transvaginal u/s's, pelvic/cervix exams, and even sex during pregnancy. So, bear that in mind if you see any more spotting since you've had another u/s (I'm assuming it was transvaginal). Congrats again!
