Question

Pulling and Twinges after O???

Hi There,

Just curious if anyone gets random pulling in their ovary after they've ovulated. It's so odd. I supposedly ovulated 2 days ago.

Thanks for the help!

I get them around the day of ovulation but not a couple days later. The pulling and twinges is a symptom to let you know you have ovulated. Maybe you ovulated later than you think?

This is my first cycle after getting my Mirena removed. Based on my period, I should have ovulated on Sep. 7th. On the 8th I had pain on my left side pretty much all day, so I am guessing I ovulated later than expected. Maybe that is happening with you too. I am still waiting for my BFP! GOOD LUCK!

Possibly! I got a positive OPK 3 days ago so maybe I just am ovulating really late? Who knows with all this cycle weirdness! Why is so hard to understand??

Ovaries and follicles are still swollen after you ovulate, which might be causing those symptoms. My ovaries had pains every single cycle before and after I ovulated. If you want to make sure that you have O'd you should try temping. GL! :)

Ok ladies....here's my newest question. I checked to see if my twinges were ovulation and I got ANOTHER +OPK on CD18. My last one was on CD15. How is this possible? I only have a 24-25 day cycle! I'm lost! Thanks for your help!

I am in a similar situation as you lovehopehugs28.
I had High fertility +OPK on CD13 and Peak fertility +OPK on CD14 and 15. I am still having ovulation pain since CD14. Looking at my BBT chart and ladies on the forum suggested my body tried to O but didn't O. I am thinking my body is having another go at Oing and may be that's why I am still having O pain??

Sorry - I hope I am not confusing you more

That makes sense to me! I thought it was odd I wasn't having ovulation pain on CD15 so maybe my body just didn't get the job done then? I usually have a short cycle so I'm curious to see if the perceived late ovulation extends my cycle.
