Did you defo ovulate 18 days ago? Have you any other symptoms?
I find clear blue digital the most accurate. I got 3 negs from regular mid stream 10uiml super sensitive cheapie a and a cheap own label one yet the clearblue digital with time predictor was positive BUT I went on to have a chemical 5 days later :(
I always test in morning good luck x

I am not a fan of digital at all... I thought it would be easier to read so I bought them. Well my friend told me that your HCG levels have to be higher for a digital test to show a positive. The one I bought said negative and then I bought First Response and it was positive the same day!

I do like digitals, but you have to choose them understanding that they aren't an early predictor test (which also has benefits). When I've used them in the past, it's been to back up an early bfp gotten with a frer. I wait a couple days after getting a frer bfp before testing with a digital. They do what they are designed to do, which is to take the confusion out of deciphering faint lines from bleeds and evaps. For their intended purpose, they are great tests, IMO. That said, I would think that even a digital would detect a pregnancy by 18 dpo, but it boils down to how quickly your hcg levels are rising or if there's a possibility that you ovulated later than expected. Were you tracking ovulation?
