Question

Question about Muncinex - Does it really help with conception?

I'm supposed to ovulate 9/23/14 so today I started taking the off brand of mucinex (Guaifenesin 400mg) I bought this brand since it has the same ingredient as mucinex and was $5.00 cheaper. Will this work just as well? Has this helped anyone concieve after taking it?

Mucinex is Guaifenesin and any product containing 100% of this ingredient will work. Taken with a lot of fluid it can help make your CM thinner around ovulation if you are having problems with the consistency of CM. I used it for a few cycles but was neither successful conceiving nor did it improve my mucus situation significantly. I then switched to evening primrose oil taken CD1 to ovulation. This has actually increased CM in quantity and quality for me. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

you can also try "pre seed"

Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to drink more fluid this week than normal - I've gotten bad about drinking water so I'm going to try to drink as much of it as I can during this week. I just stopped my BC on 7/19/14 and only been TTC since then so it's still early - I was thinking that it's possible that something to thin my CM may work - it can't hurt to try it. I will probably seek preseed or OPK's if no progess after 6 months of TTC.
