Question

Did you get Montgomery glands (little white bumps on your nipples) before finding out you were preg?

I am only 6dpo but I have a couple different symptoms pointing to pregnancy (I am staying hopeful)... one of the signs is the little white bumps on my nipples.

I had these my last pregnancy, but my boobs were sore too. This time I have the bumps but no soreness.

Just was wondering how many other women get these and do you get them only when you are pregnant?

Those glands can become more prominent during pregnancy, but at 6 dpo implantation has likely not taken place yet. Implantation happens most often between 7-11 dpo. 6 dpo would be the absolutely earliest even possible. Any symptom you may be feeling at this point is related to progesterone. After implantation the HCG first has to rise before giving you true pregnancy symptoms. Hopefully, you will be successful this month, but at 6 dpo it is too early to experience true pregnancy symptoms. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

Phillips, actually I had symptoms at 5-6dpo my last pregnancy as well. I think it is different with every woman and every pregnancy. It is rare for women to implant early, but it does happen.

Please read again, I did not say it is impossible to have implantation at 6 dpo. I said it is the very earliest possible.

I had Mongomery's Tubercles last summer...bfn. Never had 'em before, or since. Unfortunately, theyre a sign that u can get when not pregnant, same with leaking nipples. I agree with Phillips, 6dpo is the earliest for implantation. Its not something that varies per woman or pregnancy, its based purely off science and the process of cell division.
Good luck! =))

I understand science and everything but I am also a very devoted Christian and believe that with God anything is possible... on average yes 6dpo but with God anything is possible, if he wants implantation to happen before 6 days then it can happen. But that is not even the topic here, the topic is to talk about Montgomery glands and pregnancy.

Mine tend to be more prominent on random occasions. I don't remember having them as a pregnancy symptom with baby number 1.
