3 positive pregnancy test and had a blood qualative test done and it was negative!

I'm so confused and upset, I had the 3 positives yesterday and the blood work done and it was negative! I asked for a quanitive test and they did quanitive instead which doesn't count the number for hcg in your blood. The drs said they would rerun it but haven't heard back:/ could I still be pregnant? I feel pregnant!

I think the threshhold for "passing" a qualitative test is like 30, so you definitely could be pregnant. Three positive tests is a great sign! Too bad they didn't do a quantitative test :( I'll bet if you go back in a few days you will pass the qualitative for sure. Congrats and GL!

Are you on any medications? Look up medications that can cause a false positive. It is rare but it does happen. A lot of the time blood tests are more sensitive then urine tests. GL.
