How many DPO are you? The same thing happened to me, I took a FR at 10 DPO and got a very faint line, the next morning I took a CB digital and it was negative. I never got another positive, but my temps stayed high and even when triphasic. AF showed up 2 days late, and although I don't know for sure, I believe I had a chemical pregnancy. I would wait to test again when you miss your period, you will drive yourself crazy if you test everyday. GL!

The FRER gave me a faint line when my hcg was 12. The digital was negative because it needed a higher hcg level because it isn't as sensitive. Hope that helps. Test again. Unfortunately my experience was a chemical pregnancy, but it could still just be very early for you.

Thanks girls, I am either 11dpo or 12dpo.... I got positive ovulation tests 29th Aug and 30th Aug so I am guessing that's when I definitely ovulated. I have just done a first response again now (afternoon and I've drunk lots of water today) and it showed nothing :(

I had a missed miscarriage 17th June...I had to have an ERPC (Similar to D+C) so I've been trying ever since...I got my first period back so I was gutted I didn't catch between having my surgery and getting my first period back but now feeling disheartened because I have a feeling I am going to come on soon again...It's due in 2 days x

If you were drinking a lot of water, you could have diluted your urine too much to get a positive test result.

I am currently 11 dpo, I had BFN yesterday and the day before with FR and dollar store brands.
I have a clear blue digi I am trying to convince myself NOT to take today because I don't want to be disappointed/test too early since I know the digi tests can give false negatives.

The test statistics on this page say that nearly 20% of pregnant women get a false negative with CB digital at 11 dpo. So, though your are most likely (Statistically) to get a positive, 20% is a lot of women, you could easily be one of them.
Especially if you already had a second line!

I got a faint line on Answer brand at 11 DPO, but a huge, glaring NOT PREGNANT on my Clearblue digital test. I didn't get a PREGNANT on my Clearblue until 14 DPO, two days after I missed my period. Digital tests aren't as sensitive. They take a bit more hCG to change from "Not pregnant" to "Pregnant".
I would give it a couple more days, and if you are still positive on a cheaper test (like the $1 tests at Walmart), test again with FMU with a digital. Good luck! Baby dust!
