That would depend on the doctor u choose, bloodtests and ultrasounds required, the hospital u deliver at, the way u deliver (csection or vaginal), drugs for delivery, how long ur required to stay at that hospital, the room chosen, drugs for pain relief after, the province ur in....there are so many things to factor in. Ur looking at thousands tho. A visit to a clinic in Ontario, w/o a healthcard is $40. Are u not covered under our healthcare? What province are u in?

I was and now im not starting November, its a long story. im in alberta and AHC wont recognize my status until the government works on my papers ( not for another 2 years because theyre so behind).
ive just heard numbers from like 5000$-40000$... trying to narrow it down more from like the cheapest to the worst case scenario sort of thing... also do you usually have to pay upfront or right away? or more like a loan and they let you pay it off?

Yeah its really hard to say becuz no one can predict how pregnancy and delivery will go for u. Obvs the more issues during pregnancy, the more tests to be done, more money to shell out. I do know that if u get a midwife, u save more money becuz ob's cost wayyy more. U can also save quite a bit if u deliver at home. Im not sure how ur hospital will work the billing. They may require upfront payment becuz it is such an expensive procedure. Do a search online for the cost of having a baby in Alberta. Check ur hospitals website and/or call the hospital to find out prices and how they bill.
I cant believe the paperwork will take two years to file. Thats bs...typical government. Keep pushing them.
