Birthcontrol problems

I was started on Microgestion 3 weeks ago, I started it the sunday after I started my period (also the day I ended my period) and 3 days later I started bleeding, I didn't think anything of it because I know it could have been spotting or breakthrough bleeding but then I bled for a entire week. Heavy like normal. It's been 6 days since I stopped bleeding and I've started AGAIN. It's not full out yet but I'm cramping with it and my period isn't for another 9 days... Should I be concerned? Thank you.
