Question

White line on a wet pregnancy test?!

My period is a week overdue. I'm trying not to look into it too much because for the past year my cycles have ranged from 28 to 40 days, but nevertheless I took a test. I noticed that there was a white line in the test area, but then it disappeared after about 15 mins, after the urine dried. Ink is supposed to be red. Can anyone explain what this might be?

Thanks

I think that is where the dye is suppose to show up and since you don't have any HCG in your system, the urine just passes it and dries transparent.

EducatedMama is right. If it stays white or appears grey it is the urine just passing over the line. If the line turns any color (blue or pink depending on the type of test you bought), it is the HCG that made it turn that color.
