I have been on Femara for the past year. Although Femara is not clomid it works similarly to stimulate the ovaries to produce follicles. My dr will not prescribe Femara unless I have an ultrasound on CD 3 to rule out cysts. Cysts can grow under the influence of the medication and can potentially rupture. There are cases when cysts grow very large and can twist the ovary. I would call the dr's office again and voice the concern of yours. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

I was not monitored on clomid either

i will be starting clomid sometime next week i hope they put me on provera to start my period first but i also believe they are not going to monitor because all he said was to come in on day 21 after period starts i also have a history of cysts im not to worried i would hope they would not mess me up so try not to worry and let me know what goes on with you baby dust 2 you :)

I just recently took clomid and triggered last monday (first timers). Our initial plan was to try Clomid + trigger in August, but when I went in for my ultra sound, they found a cyst on my left ovary. I was told we would have to skip August because taking clomid while having a cyst is not beneficial or effective in getting pregnant. The dr. told me that they needed to see what the cyst looked like the following month to make sure it wasn't hormonal and to see if there was any change. Also, they mentioned that Clomid could also cause cysts. If I were you, I would speak with your dr. and have an ultra sound done. Hope this helps! Good luck
