Conception after d and c
Hey ladies! So to keep this as short as possible, I had a miss arriage on March 20 at about 12-14 weeks naturally at home alone ( horrible, I gave birth in my bathtub after 9 hours of cruel labor while my toddlers watched all three toy story movies). 5 months later....yes FIVE months later on august 19, they decide I need a d and c. My question is I was wondering how many women had luck conceiving the first month after a d and c? It's a little bit of a different situation bc I lost my daughter so long ago and I had periods in between. I was tracking with opk and I surged on Wednesday the 3rd and now I'm having even worse cramps and more CM than ever. Just looking for a glimmer of hope I guess. My angel had turners so i guess god had a reason for what I felt was like stealing her from me. But I certainly wouldn't have wanted her to suffer either. Any opinions are welcome.

Sorry for your loss. I had to deliver my daughter at 19 weeks on 7/10/14 in the hospital. Her death was caused by a cord accident. Thankfully, everything came out during delivery so I didn't have to have a D and C. I am currently on my second period since I delivered her. DH and I haven't been preventing pregnancy but haven't had any luck after delivery. My Dr did encourage us to wait until I had 2 normal periods before trying again though. I'm so sorry for your loss. How horrible. We aren't actively trying either, but I feel cheated bc we waited all those months in between and I got three periods, just to be told I still needed a d and c. To deliver your baby in the tub and hold her and just think it's all over to find out 5 months later that my lining is still too thick was just murder. I hate the doctors for being so incompetent.
