Conception after d and c
Hey ladies! So to keep this as short as possible, I had a miss arriage on March 20 at about 12-14 weeks naturally at home alone ( horrible, I gave birth in my bathtub after 9 hours of cruel labor while my toddlers watched all three toy story movies). 5 months later....yes FIVE months later on august 19, they decide I need a d and c. My question is I was wondering how many women had lunch conceiving the first month after a d and c? It's a little bit of a different situation bc I lost my daughter so long ago and I had periods in between. I was tracking with opk and I surged on Wednesday the 3rd and now I'm having even worse cramps and more CM than ever. Just looking for a glimmer of hope I guess. My angel had turners so i guess god had a reason for what I felt was like stealing her from me. But I certainly wouldn't have wanted her to suffer either. Any opinions are welcome.

It all depends on how well your body bounces back. It would run along the same lines as getting pregnant shortly after giving birth. It happens and the babies born from it can be perfectly healthy. Just remember CM isn't a very good indication of pregnancy. I had one cycle where I was relatively dry and the next it was pretty wet. Neither one did I conceive. And that is true for a lot of people. I think it just has to do with varying progesterone levels during different cycles. I don't think you'd have cramping this early unless it's ovulation related since you probably ovulated yesterday if your surge was wed. You are probably only 1dpo. Implantation won't occur for nearly another week. I think your chances are just as good as any other women. I don't think your D&C will totally ruin your chances provided there was no scar tissue from it. Good luck and keep us updated!

Thank you. That was my fourth mc in a row and they all varied right after conception. I have two girls but I remember tracking so much until the implantation bleeding. I tend to get ovulation cramps just never this bad though that could just be me getting older and also the fact that it's my first period after the d and c. The good thing is it was day 16 which was what my old cycle was. Hoping it all goes back to being normal and predictable!

Hm. I was a surrogate this past year and my intended mother had no problems getting pregnant but staying pregnant was an issue. She had fibroids that caused her to miscarry usually around 8 weeks but she did make it to 20 once. Have you been checked for any growths? Four in a row is unusual.
