Question

What are my chances of getting pregnant?

im engaged and my Fiance is dying for a baby, we havent used protection in 10 months and still nothing, my period is super Irregular my cycles can range from 34 to 51 days and im worried that i wont be able to have another baby ( i have two from my previous relationship) can my irregular period be stopping me from getting pregnant? if not then why is it taking so long to conceive. BTW im on cycle day 49 and still no period n sore boobs!

They might be stopping you from getting pregnant. Have you talked to your OBGYN about your irregular cycles? One of the more common causes of cycles like that is PCOS, but there are also other causes to look into. I definitely think you should talk to your doctor about your irregular cycles. If it comes up on 12 months and you still aren't pregnant, you can both see someone. Has your fiance considered doing an SA? That's usually one of the first things specialists do. Also, have you been temping/using OPK's and making sure you are timing everything? I know it's really difficult to do with irregular cycles. Best of luck to you!

Hi, I agree with thorntoj86, your cycles can be the reason you're not yet pregnant. You can also look into using the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor, it is helpful in taking the guess work out of when your LH surge is and along with temping you would be in good shape. I would definitely also make an appt to see your Dr.
