Question

What were your experiences with trying after an Ectopic Pregnancy Loss?

I am wondering what everyone's experiences have been like after an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage. When did your anxiety end? How long did it take to get pregnant?

Time heals all! Currently had an ectopic in April. Tube was saved, thankfully. The pain never really goes away, Especially when I still get updates on how many weeks I would be today. Currently TTC again...two months in so far no luck. First pregnancy only took one try so I am crossing my fingers. A loss hurts but it's also a good sign that both you and partner are in deed fertile and now you are more aware of your bodies. Surround yourself by supportive people and one day you will have a full term healthy pregnancy.

Thank you! It does help knowing that we are able to get pregnant but it has defenitely been hard getting over the loss. We had been trying for 10 months so I felt like we had finally caught a break. I am lucky to have a lot of wonderful supportive people, so when the time does come for our healthy pregnancy I am sure they will do all they can to keep me calm. Thank you!

:( sorry. Wish I had happy answers all the way around, but I lost both tubes to ectopic pregnancies in 2007.
So that was that, never again :( unless I can save for IVF. I have been trying for years... someday. I'm hanging on to hope I win the lottery

Hi , I fell pregnant 1st month ttc but this ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks , pregnant 8 months later but this one was right sided ectopic lost my right tube . Had a break for a few months to try and relax and fell pregnant second month trying with one tube . I am currently almost 25 weeks pregnant. The anxiety never really leaves you until you see the scan and everything is in correct place , but then I think you are always anxious about something when you have had losses. What helped me was the thinking that if I don't try again then I will be fine but I would be wasting my chance of ever having a baby so I may as we'll try again and if I did have another ectopic which remember is only a small chance then that would be it. But at least I would know I tried . Try to relax and let nature do the work . Enjoy your sex life and try not to obsess. You have fell pregnant before so chances are you will again. Just make sure you get an early scan .
