Question

Am I likely have a miscarriage?

27yo, had a successful pregnancy in 2005. Now ttc since July 17th. Tested positive for 2 hpt one of which was clear blue and said I am 1-2 weeks. This was yesterday and I'm now 9dpo . Spoke to on cal Dr. After having blood work on Friday and she was weird an said my hcg level was low, I believe she muttered 3, and you need 5 to be considered pregnant. I tested again this morning, 1 day after blood test on bfp strips and the pink line was darker. Today I had light cramping and spotting that was brown. Its 6 days before my expected period. Has anyone else experienced this ? She said not to get excited .

Could go either way. It is too early to tell.....you should schedule a couple more HCG tests to see if the levels are doubling properly. I would not worry about a lower starting number for the HCG. It all has to start from somewhere. The next few bloodtests will bring an answer. All the best.

The spotting you experienced could be implantation bleeding.

I think it's to early to tell. You might of experienced implantation bleeding. I tested 6 days before my expected af and got a faint positive. Two days later I had some cramping and light pink spotting. The next day I had some cramping and brown spotting. Then nothing. My af never came and when I was one day late I took another test and got a definite positive. I'm now 11 weeks & 5 days along. I sure hope everything works out good for you!!!

Update, hcg leveled tripled to 219 at 12dpo . The nurse said this is great.
