It is possible but it would indicate a pretty bad LP defect. It's also possible you had a bit of implantation bleeding! FX that you get some very good news in the next week with an HPT :)

I am sure it isn't implantation bleeding as we didn't give a go for this cycle.

I did a quick online research and now I understand what LP defect means :(

I was told by my OB to wait until next cycle as my uterus hasn't fully healed. He would normally recommend patients to try as soon as ready but not in my case as I had unusual bleeding after a D & C.

If u havent started a full flow, spotting wouldnt count as a period, so a luteal defect isnt really something to consider at this point. Worry about that when u have an actual menses. Changing hormone levels will cause spotting and just coming off of a mc would definitely render unstable hormones. Its always good to research and educate urself on these things, but try not to worry about them if they dont apply to u at this point in time. Next cycle will be a bit more accurate as to how ur body will work.
