Question

10dpo... w/o a clue

So since my 4dpo I've been having symptoms left and right. Some i would admit are similar to my usual PMS. But some, not so much. My dreams have been off the charts. I usually break out before af. My face is clear. I usually have breast pain, and this month not only do i have the pain, but I appear to have some road map across my chest with all the veins showing. My legs are in extreme pain, which i guess is causing my feet to swell. And last but not least, I've had these headaches that come and go, which usually i only get the day before af. I have been nausea but havent thrown up, and I've had cramping, and pulling, but today at 10dpo i feel nothing... i took a test and bfn. Idk what to do, this is beyond frustrating. Any suggestions? Anyone?

Weirdly most things I read symptoms vanished before bfp. But also when trying you notice way more about your body. Like me right now I'm 8 dpo and could have sworn I was going to get bfp this morning my symptoms are crazy. But way diff from pms stuff. So fx for you hun!

4 dpo would be way too early for pregnancy symptoms as implantation hasnt occurred yet. That doesn't occur until 6-12 dpo, with 9 being avg. All of your symptoms are being caused by the surge in progesterone that occurs after o, which happens in both pregnant & nonpregnant cycles. Your reduction in symptoms could mean that your corpus luteum is starting to die, which causes your progesterone to fall, which causes you to start AF. That does typically start around 9-10 dpo. However, most women do not have blaring symptoms before a bfp, so you're definitely still in the game. Gl to you! Hope it is your month!

@eag923â?? thanks. Imã try another test on Sunday. Af is due on Wednesday. I just hate thinking I am, when trying not to think that I am, when really i want to be, just so that I wont be disappointed.

@sabsafabs: you're absoultely right. Im noticing everything. My 1st was unplanned. And although I didnt have any symptoms, I knew from the night of... weird i know... but now that im ttc i feel like im setting myself up for failure. Welp... enough of my soap opera. When do you plan to test?

I had a similar experience. Our first was unplanned, however, #2 was planned. Our first cycle of trying, I had every symptom in the book: nausea, funny taste in mouth, cramping, etc etc. You name it, I had it. But AF showed up right on time. Our 2nd cycle, few symptoms. It felt like any other month. I never even got a + opk! However, that was the month I conceived! So, it just proves that symptoms can be very misleading. If you can't wait until your missed period, try not & test before 12 dpo. For most women, that's about as early as a + is going to show. Baby dust!

I am trying very hard this month not to symptom spot. And truth be told, I'm not feeling it this month. Every other month I was convinced I was going to get a BFP. Then, I began feeling a lot of symptoms only to be disappointed when AF would show up. So, moral of the story, our bodies can trick us into believing we are when we want it most. My mother always tells me when I least expect it it will happen. Most times I want to throw something at her. Recently though, I think she means that I need to stop obsessing about it. If it has happened, I will know when I miss my period and get a BFP. I really hate it when she is right! lol Anyway, good luck to everyone this month! I pray that we all get our BFPs very soon.
