Implantation bleeding a week after period, pregnancy symptoms, missed period but negative hpt test?

My last period was on 7/13 and lasted 4 days, 5 days later on 7/22 I had light spotting only when I wiped and it was light reddish colored, then became more pink colored and I had brown discharge all day for about 4 or 5 days. I think that was implantation bleeding (I think I may have ovulated late and conceived right before my period). I've had extremely sore breasts, more frequent and painful headaches, peeing a lot more, I can smell more things that my roommates can't, back pain, I've had cold-like symptoms for a while, my stomach feels a little harder down there (not sure if I'm imagining it but it feels pretty hard). Not really that nauseous but my appetite has changed, it's not so easy to eat many things anymore. Occasionally my hips and ribs will hurt and I've been having dull and uncomfortable cramps for a couple weeks now. My period was due 8/10 but it's 8/28 and still hasn't come. Last hpt I took was yesterday and negative. Is it too early to test? Are my hormones too low?:(
