Question

spotting after sex. continues next day. anyone had this happen?

I started spotting last night after husband and I DTD. I was surprised by it because it's never happened before. I was 7-8 DPO yesterday. I have more CM too, it takes 2-3 wipes for me to be completely dry after visiting the bathroom. The mucous is spotted with strings (for lack of a better word) of orangish/brownish sometimes pink blood. I was reading about implantation bleeding, but I'm starting to think I'm making a connection just because I want it to be there. Has this sort of thing happened to any of you before? Did you find out what caused it?

I've had this once, but it lasted a week it turned out that I had a high thyroid level. Apparently having a high level of thyroid can cause break through bleeding. I'd take a test... If it's a BFN, I'd get your thyroid checked.

If it is related to the sex it wouldn't be surprising for it to continue for a day or so. Brown blood is older blood so you could have bled during sex and it's still making it's way out.
I've heard that implantation blood is pink, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Ive heard that spotting blood can vary person to person, it just tends to not be bright red. Thanks for the input ladies! I had a smear of it this morning (2 days past DTD).

I have also experienced this. However, mine was due to a uterine fibroid. Make an appt with your doctor if this should happen again.
