Did I ovulate? Blood says no, chart says yes.
I had an opk+ on cd17 and I did a progesterone serum blood test on cd23. It came back only 2.6 ng/ml. That would indicate that I didn't ovulate, at least not in this cycle (it should be > 10). But I think I DID ovulate, just look at the thermal shift at cd17. Also, I noticed some very light brown spotting yesterday and today. This morning I had a big temp drop. I think af will be coming very soon. That would make the luteal phase very short, shorter than the 10 day LP I usually have. My cycles are normally around 27-28 days, and I always have opk+ no sooner than cd17 or 18. And I NEVER spot!
Did I have a â??weak ovulationâ?? this cycle? Or could I just not have ovulated this round? What do you think?

Imo, I would say u didnt O. U have one temp thats higher than all others on the chart but the rest never passed ur pre-O temps. The dip falls on the day of the positive opk, which would suggest the hormones did fire off in an attempt to O but the temps themselves only show what they did before ur surge. Bloods done 4 or more days after suspected ovulation would be higher than that if u hadve O'd...even a weak one should put u above 5ng/ml.
Id trust the bloodwork, but thats just me.
