Question

forms for an appointment with a fertility clinic and they ask if I have had a live in relationship?!

Filling in forms so that we can get an appointment with a fertility clinic, one of the questions asks how long have me and my partner been living together, next asks how long you have been tying to get pregnant and the next asks "have you had a live-in relationship before?" What does this mean, with ex partners? And if so how is that relevant? Or am I reading this wrong?!

Thanks

My clinic asked me questions about if I had been pregnant with previous partners and if my hubby had any love children. I think they are trying to assess your and a partners fertility. It does seem NOsey doesn't it!

Call them up and say: what does this question mean? Do you want to know if I've had previous sexual partners?? Do you want to know how long I've been sexually active? Only you do know it's possible to have sex without having a mortgage....!? Darn it, I'd rather they were just frank about it rather than being all suggestive. It's just weird.

5 years TTC. Endometriosis and adenomyosis. Surgery. 2 IVFs. No joy. Low ovarian reserve. Is there any real hope? DE IVF = next step. Much higher success rates, but so used to things not working, it's hard to feel too hopeful. Wishing others an easier time.
