7 days of light bleeding starting CD10
I usually have a regular 28 day cycle. A couple months ago my period was a week late. My last period came on time. But 5 days after it ended I started bleeding again. It started brown for about 8 hours, but after that it's been pink and red. It's not spotting. Definitely a light flow and I have to use a pad. I had very light cramping right before it started. It is now 7 days later and I'm still bleeding and I had very light cramping again. I had an LH surge today, but didn't take any ovulation tests earlier this cycle.
I'm so confused! My thoughts about why this could be happening are (1) stress? I didn't think that it would last this long though if that were the case (2) I have a family history of endometriosis but don't know if this is a sign of that (3) ovulation bleeding... But can that last this long and be more than spotting?
Anyone have thoughts?

Hi Bradley kzoo, I had the exact same problem this cycle and I was worried enough to go to my RE who prescribed tranxenemic acid tablets to ease the bleed but it didn't help much. After some tests it was found out its coz of low progesterone in my body for which I had to take extrinsic proges. To help stop the bleeding and it did ..:)
Though the cycle is a bust I'm glad I'm not bleeding anymore and looking forward to the next one for ttc .
I would advise seeing your OB/GYN if the bleeding has been for 7 days now as it can result in other issues too .also if u have any history it's better to be checked out sooner than later !!
