Trying for a baby after the pill?

Hi Girls.
I was on the pill for 6 months in 2008 & within the first month of coming of it i got pregnant with my son who is now 5. After i gave birth i went back on it. So 5 years on it i have decided to try for another child. I came off the pill in April &'it took 9 weeks for my period to come. I calculated my next period to be due on June 13th going by a 28 day cycle. I have had alot of unprotected sex witj my partner & my period is 4 weeks late. I took a a PT 2 weekd ago.& it was negative. I have had cramps & discharge that is slimy & stretchy. I dont recall these symptoms with my 1st pregnancy!
Has any one else had delayed periods after coming off the pill?

Having delayed periods & ovulation is actually the norm after coming off the pill. After stopping the pill, it took me 3 months to see a return of normal cycles. Be patient & give your body time. It will happen. :)

Thanks im 5 months of it now. Used protection from april to June as doctors advised to wait for a first period to arrive before we tried! Been having alot of unptotected sex since then.& 4 weeks late! Either im pregnanr or my xycle is still nt back to normal

I would retest. If the hpt is still neg, call your Dr. Odds are you just haven't regulated yet or are having an odd cycle, but he may want to run labs to rule out pregnancy as a small percentage of women don't test positive right away on a urine test.
