Question

When should I ovulate with a 29 day cycle??

I am 19 years old. I have regular 29 day cycles every month. My last period was July 24 2014. I started getting ewcm on August 1st that lasted to August 4th. Then on the 5th my cm started getting creamy. We bd July 29, August 1st, August 3rd, & August 4th. But when I do ovulation calculators online it says I should be ovulating much later. If that's true then why am I having ewcm so early? Ugh someone please help.

You would o around CD 15, give or take a few days in either direction. CD 1 is the first day of your period (full flow). On avg, you ovulate 14 days prior to the start of your next period, however it is normal to have ewcm in the days prior to actually ovulating. Generally speaking, the days just prior to ovulating are your most fertile days & a lot of women dry up the day of o. Once your cm turns creamy, you have most likely ovulated as the spike in progesterone that occurs once you o turns cm creamy/lotion like. I had 27 day cycles prior to conceiving. I ovulated on day 13 & usually saw ewcm start up around CD 10 or so. Also, younger women will have more ewcm than older women as it is one of the ways our fertility declines. If you see ewcm, acknowledge your body's cues & ignore the apps. :) gl!
