Implantation or early AF

My cycles are usually anywhere from 44-54 days long this morning I have woken up to dark red bleeding more than spotting but was watery like it has cm in it sorry tmi! I had no symptoms or signs that af was coming but then I don't always. I have had some cramping and a couple of headaches.
I so came off of bcp in jan so could it just be my body starting to regulate?
