12 dpo, bfp, having strong lower back pain
I can remember my lower back hurting like this with my twins, but that wasn't until 20ish weeks. Is this normal? I am only 3/4 weeks along top. Could this be a sign of ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage? Very concerned. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I haven't heard of lower back pain being a miscarriage sign, but who knows? I have definitely heard of it being an early pregnancy sign. Progesterone can cause that. Symptoms can come on shockingly early! I think if you get blood draws done it will give you more information re: MC/ectopic risk. GL!

with my daughter i had lots of lower back pain throught the whole pregnancy and back labor !. your baby could just be resting more towards your back. nothing to worry about in my opinion just a little more painful. also i am ttc and im 10 dpo ovulation and it seems my back is the one symptom im having most frequently . so im hoping this is the start of something !!

I had horrible lower back pain when i was 3 to 4 weeks as well. I wanted so bad to go to the hospital! but i waited it out and it stopped in about 2 weeks, my sides hurt alot as well. Im 7 weeks 4 days now and doing fine after two back to back MC's! so dont stress too much over it. my midwife told me today that stress can kill you as fast as a heart attack can. Best wishes!

Thank you Ladies so much for answering. My back isn't hurting me anymore. It's my breast now. Lol. So crazy how different each pregnancy is. I have my first doctors appointment in 2 weeks I'm high risk. Previous 3 babies were all born at 30 weeks. So, I will be at the doctors all the time. Yay! Lol. Thank y'all again.
