Question

Miscarriage? Someone help!

Lord I hope its not happening but today I started lightly spotting (very VERY light pink), I don't have any other symptoms with it right now. I got a BFP on 07/29 and I am est. that I am about 4wks and 4 days pregnant.

Has anyone had experience with this? Either resulting in a m/c or normal pregnancy?

Thank you!

I have not had any spotting so far in my pregnancy but I have heard that it is normal. Have you had betas drawn? Are they doubling properly? That would help give you more information, as would calling your doc and making sure they know what's up. It's hard not to stress but try to stay calm :)

My doctors said they wont see me until I am 10 weeks pregnant for my first checkup but the spotting just started today and its Sunday (of course) so they are closed, I will give them a call in the morning for sure! The bleeding isn't terrible, just when I wipe but still worrisome! I would just assume it was implantation bleeding but I already had that so I don't know what to think but thank you!

Do your own hcg test
Do 2 preg test
One neat urine
One diluted with water they should be as dark as each other if hcg rising x

How much water? Wouldn't the water dilute the results though?

First of all, I'm sorry this is happening. You should absolutely be seen by a doctor - whether it's yours or one at an ER. There isn't much anyone can do if you are in fact having a miscarriage, but they can help diagnose the problem you are having (common light bleeding in first trimester, sub-chorionic hematoma, ectopic, blighted ovum, etc.). Have them monitor your HCG levels by taking a blood test. They should be doubling every 48 hours in a viable pregnancy. You CAN NOT reliably detect an HCG rise with an HPT. This is absurd, although I've seen many women try this. Please see a doctor for help. Good luck!
