If you've just gotten a negative hpt within the last day or so, it's no wonder you haven't gotten AF yet. I would hazard a guess that your positive opk on July 4 was also registering hcg. But since you had a D&C, I would have expected your system to have been cleared of hcg nearly immediately, I worry that you had some retained fetal tissue. I'd phone your physician and see what they say. I assume you had a 2 week follow-up appointment and had no issues raised then. My doctor had me have an SIS after mine to verify that there was no retained fetal tissue.

They told me it could take up to 6-8 weeks to get a period after my D&E. It only took 2 weeks, but that was a very light period and most of the docs dismissed it said to count the one that occurred at 6 weeks post. I wasn't taking HPT at the time though. If you're concerned or having any pain or odd smells, go get the SIS. It isn't painful and only take a few min.

Hi so sorry for your loss. , but please don't worry af will start , I had miscarriage end of May then had to have d&c end of April as had retained tissue and I didn't have af till 10june , it is the worse thing waiting for it to arrive but it will arrive and may b very heavy I've now had 2cycles since d&c and I can't go out the house because of how heavy it is sorry tmi but I'm having to. Change. every hour , hopefully you'll be back to normal soon and get your BFP when u ready to try again sending u loAds of baby dust , ��

I had a miscarriage and had to get a D&C in January. I didnt have periods for a couple months and your HCG levels are still high because your body has no registered that you are not pregnant. I was seeing my OB for two months after to make sure that they went back down to 0. I am really sorry for your loss and I completely understnad how hard it is. I went in for my 4 month check up and the baby died 3 weeks prior.
