Question

Medicated IUI cycle, BFN tests, and no Period....18dpiui!

So I am totally confused. I took letrozole cd3-12. Triggered with 250mcg of Ovidrel on CD 13. Had my IUI July 12th (cd 15) Started progesterone suppositories on 3 dpiui.
Today I am 18 days past IUI and I still have no period and no positive test. It is CD 33.
My CP has been extremely high for the last several days and it is either firm or medium. The OS has also stayed closed.
I called for a blood test, but my doc wants to wait until cd 36 to do a blood test.I asked if it was the progesterone causing me to not have a period and he was adamant that it would not delay my cycle. On that note, this is my 3rd month using it...and it has never delayed it before. As for symptoms..I don't really have any PG or AF things going on. The only thing I have is my breasts are sore everywhere and so are my nips. Occasionally have some nausea and am VERY tired.

Does anyone have any ideas because I am totally out of them!!!

The nurse thought I just metabolize HcG fast, but idk about all that!

Progesterone supplements can delay your period for quite a while. I used endometrin vaginal inserts last cycle and they did just that. My dr recommended a blood test 18 dpo and it came back negative. I then stopped the progesterone and my period started 2 days later. There is no downside to doing a bloodtest earlier than your dr recommends. I don't understand his position. All the best.

If the Dr is testing 7 days after you would normally miss you period, they are doing this because some women just don't show pg until they are a week late

My progesterone sups always delayed my period from 1-4 days (depending on the month, sometimes I'd stop them too with a BFN). I take 250mg twice a day. If you take less I'd expect it to delay you less. It's very frustrating that your doc won't do the blood test until 7 days after missed period, especially if he thinks it won't delay your cycle. Blood work doesn't cost much, have him do one now and one later (for you sanity if nothing else).
