Question

Could I be pregnant?

Hello all! So hubby and I are officially ttc! I stopped the pill and started withdrawl bleeding four days later on July 14th, so will I ovulate 14 days later on July 28th? I had regular cycles before I started the pill. We've been having sex every other day since July 24th and made sure we had sex on the 28th. So what's the chance of getting pregnant? We're both healthy!

It is too early to tell what your cycles will be like off bc. For most women, they are fairly irregular for a few months after stopping hormonal bc. It took me 3 mos to start ovulating again when I stopped the pill. Also, your cycle length (and thus your o date) may change, so ovulating on day 14 isn't likely. My cycles were 31 days long after the pill, which put o around day 17. After baby #1, they went to every 27 days, which put o on day 13. Cycle length varies from birth control usage, having babies, etc, so it may vary from what your cycles were like pre-pill. However, some women conceive their first cycle off of the pill, so it I'd possible. Try not & get discouraged. It may take a few months to regulate (if you go 3+ mos w/o a period call your Dr), but once you do, there should be no issues. Gl!
