11DPO, AF due in three days. Bleeding today. Implantation?

Hi ladies!

I have felt "pregnant" the past several days. I have two young sons, so I've been around the block :)
We started TTC a girl this month (sway diet for two months now) and we DTD 2 days before I O'd.
This morning I had some bright red blood when I went to the bathroom, but it quickly turned really dark red/brown. TMI, but I went through a light tampon in five hours (so, not too much blood, especially with how heavy AF usually starts for me).
My question is, could it be implantation? I have been taking baby Aspirin as a part of my sway, and I also drank peppermint tea, which can thin blood.
I will also add I'm on Spironolactone, which can mess with cycles...
soooo, I am one big ball of confusion right now :)

Another question - if this does sound like implantation, when can I take an HPT?
