Pregnant after miscarriage?

I'm trying to figure out when I should take an early test, but my period was off these last two months. Last month I ovulated on 6/19 and thought I might have been pregnant (messed up bc pills). Had what I thought was IB at about 9 dpo. Ended up getting very heavy period (7+ days) three days earlier than normal (normally very light and about 1.5 days). My average cycle length has been 29 days. I was not on BC this month and think I should have ovulated on 7/18, but not sure at all this month. Want to test, but if I go by the 26 day cycle it would be time to early test, but if the normal 29, it would be too early still. Not sure what to do for this month.
