Is it a bad idea to give blood while TTC?

I have been giving blood for years, and going on 1 year TTC. I just decided to stop because it just doesn't seem right. I feel like I need all of my blood for shortly after conception. Am I crazy?

I can't think of a reason not to donate blood while TTC. After conception, your body will create the additional blood the baby needs (around 6-10 weeks).

Me: 45, unexplained (but now ancient) Husband: 46 (perfect in every way) Married 21 years 1 daughter born 07/2011 after TTC for 12 years

Ur constantly replacing blood cells, dont stop donating becuz ur ttc. Start taking B12 if ur worried about it.
