I have cramps after my period... why!?
I started my period on the 5th of July and ended on the 8th I'm usually on a 28 day cycle. I know this will sound gross but my boyfriend and I had sex every day multiple times from the 5th of July to the 10th of July. I started having cramps about a week ago. They hurt like period cramps, and I'm always tired. I don't think I'm pregnant because I've been told you can't get pregnant while you're on your period but I'm worried about these after period cramps. And I do believe I'm past my ovulation period. What could it be!?
Thanks

You can't get pregnant while on your period, but it is possible to get pregnant from having sex during your period if you ovulate very early (since the sperm can hang around for a few days). If you have a regular 28 day cycle, the cramps probably started right around the time you ovulated. That's pretty common, and it's just plain old pms (even if you don't usually get this, it's also not unusual to get different pms symptoms from time to time). There is still a chance you're pregnant since you had unprotected sex and aren't certain of when you ovulated, but the cramps don't mean anything either way - even if you had ovulated super-early in your cycle (highly unlikely), a week ago would still have been too early to get cramping from implantation. Good luck, I hope you get the outcome you want!
