Ovulation tests- Is this Normal?

I took an ovulation test 2 days ago, it was positive, I also had cramping on one side, headache, and other "period-like" symptoms that same day so I was pretty confident I was ovulating. I continued to take the ovulation tests and am still getting very clear positives that show up very quickly. I also had some mild cramping today but not has long or as bad as it was 2 days ago. Is this normal? How many days will I continue to get positive results? I thought for sure it would have been negative by today just based on what I felt and that I had a positive 2 days ago.
