Tmi but is green discharge normal in pregnancy?
Apologies as this is super tmi.
Just been to the docs, been having green discharge down there (looks like I've blown my nose on tissue ugh!) there's no odour or pain.
Anyway, tests I had came back with 'nothing significant' but he was going to give me antibiotics anyway. I then explained I might be pregnant so he cancelled the script and said 'oh you get all sorts of discharge whilst pregnant. Well in my first two pregnancies I had no green discharge, I had it in the last one 2 months ago, just before I miscarried. I also noticed green discharge in my last cycle without pregnancy. So surely this is not normal at all. I've never had it before and I feel my doc is fobbing me off. I've got a very faint bfp and I'm so worried there's an infection somewhere and I might be heading for another miscarriage.
I know you're not medical professionals but I'm just wondering what my next move should be aside from slapping my doctor???

I've just looked into the symptoms of that. Scary! I know for a fact though that me an my fiancé have not had unprotected sex with anyone else. But we have in the past. (Over 3 years ago) I'm just wondering if there could be a long incubation period. It's scary, I really don't want to lose this baby. I kept going on and on to the doc the last time, just before I miscarried, and he just kept shrugging it off. I'm not sure what they tested for. I know they were looking for BV and thrush but that's all.
My docs just won't listen and I'm worried now!

Women can go long periods of time without symptoms of gonorrhea or never have any symptoms at all. However, std testing (at least in the States) at the first prenatal appt is standard procedure. I know for a fact that they swab you for gonorrhea, chlamydia, & screen you for syphillis with your blood work.

Thanks for the responses. I don't think it's routine here in the UK but I'm going to demand further investigations.
I actually went to the docs Initially before I was pregnant anyway and it's very early days but It's worrying enough being pregnant so soon after an mc without there being potential health problems. I just can't believe that my docs would just shrug this off.
