Ovulation tests all negative, started period again. Am I ovulating?
I literally just finished my period three-four weeks ago. I have been doing ovulation tests every other day. None of them were positive. I typically have a 36-46 day cycle or longer. I just finished a period that was 30 days long so I was not expecting it back so soon. I have irregular periods and I have been tested for PCOS with negative results. I have a family history of endometriosis though. Should I go get checked? Am I ovulating? Thanks.

It's impossible for us to tell whether you are ovulation or not, but if you only test for ovulation every other day you could very well have missed your surge. The surge is very short, and for many women it only lasts a few hours/half a day, so if that fell on one of your your non-testing days, you could have missed the whole thing. You really need to do the tests every single day, and sometimes twice a day, to be sure to catch the surge, otherwise it could just be a waste of money.

If you're having a period than ours probably ovulation. With u having such crazy cycles, you may have missed your O day by testing every other day! That O day window is so small 12-36 hours, so you cant play around. You need to test everyday and use the am urine!! Going to the doctor is always a good idea!!
